Last month, the Seniors Helping Seniors, Greater Boston & Metrowest team and our families gathered together on a warm summer day for a good reason… our 5th Annual Caregiver Appreciation Cookout!

The incredible caregivers of Seniors Helping Seniors, Greater Boston & Metrowest are the true leaders of our organization, and we wouldn’t be able to provide the support our clients and families have come to know, love and rely on without them! So to celebrate, we headed back to beautiful Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, MA to visit, share laughs, and nosh on fare from Blue Ribbon BBQ. To cap off a great day, we had entertainment by Rob Klein, husband of our Manager of Client Services, Jan Klein, and there was a surprise visit from a local ice cream truck that put a smile on everyone’s face on an especially warm day.

Our team and overall organization has grown leaps and bounds over the past five years, and we truly wouldn’t be where we are without our caregivers, staff and everyone else that keeps our SHS organization drumming. The new client calls and praise never seem to cease —  a true testament to the work we’re all committed to! And to keep up with the growth, we’re calling on you! Do you have family or friends that you think would make an excellent caregiver? We’re looking for your referrals and even have an upcoming Caregiver Job Fair on Thursday, September 12, hosted at our office (330 Bear Hill Road, Suite 305 in Waltham, MA) from 3-5pm.

For more information on working for SHS or to RSVP to our upcoming Job Fair, please contact our HR Manager, Lisa Graffeo, at [email protected] or (617) 877-3163.
