Older adults often need frequent medical care.
Many of our clients have complex medical concerns that require multiple doctor’s appointments. This can often place the burden of transportation on families, who want their loved one to get to their appointment safely and to be there for moral support. Often doctor’s see clients during regular business hours, making the challenge even greater for working families who need to take time off from work in order to take their loved one to an appointment and perhaps even wait several hours before the appointment is over.
How can we help?
At Seniors Helping Seniors, we are able to help provide both transportation and moral support to your loved ones as they address physical and cognitive challenges with their health care team. We can make sure that follow up visits are scheduled and communicated with families and we can also make sure that prescriptions are picked up. While there are many ride services available to the general public, we go the extra mile by making sure that your loved one is on time for their appointment, they’re are safely in the doctor’s office, and they can head home directly after their appointment with a trusted companion there to assist.
