"The Gentle Swedish Art of Death Cleaning" Presentation

In Sweden, there is a kind of decluttering called "dostadning." This surprising and invigorating process of clearing out unnecessary belongings can be undertaken at any age of life and has tremendous implications for helping people broach sensitive conversations around advance care planning by making the process uplifting rather than overwhelming. In this session, Jennifer Sax of Good Shepherd Community Care and Arlene Lowney of Living Wisely Dying Well will introduce the audience to this gentle philosophical practice and discuss ways that it can be integrated with advance care planning conversations.

This is a 1.5 CEU credit for nurses and social workers.

This event is sponsored by Good Shepherd Community Care and Living Wisely Dying Well.
